Baseball Update

On Wednesday, the Diamond Dogs blew an 8-3 lead to lose 16-8 to lowly Jacksonville State. The Dawgs looked on pace to repeat that performance after blowing an 8-1 lead to the Gators on Friday night.

Friday's game was postponed due to rain with the score tied 9-9 in the bottom of the 9th with 1 out and a man on first. Last night's game will be completed after the regularly scheduled Saturday game is finished. Today's game starts at 1:00 pm and it airs on CSS.

As of this morning, Georgia's RPI is 14th according to WarrenNolan.com. We're going to need to have the #2 or better RPI in the SEC to land a National Seed in the tourney.

4 losses in a row now...seems we plateaued way too early in the season...

Don't think we are thinking National Seed anymore. We need the tide to change significantly just to get a regional.

This team sucks. A national seed is gone and we will be lucky to host a regional.
