I've got it on pretty good authority that tech is planning a moment of silence and is working with UGA on a possible video tribute as well. Nothing final there. How well their fans react is another story, but the school seems to be stepping up the right way.
Do you remember all the whining and bitching and crying they did when we made fun of their car getting wrecked? A sense of perspective is not in the cards for most tech fans...
This is a lame "rivalry". Worst game to lose. Not anywhere close to being the best one to win. Nuisance game - nothing more.

A car can be repaired with a hammer, some body work, etc. It's a little bit different than a person, or a beloved family pet since several comments also invoke Uga's passing as well.

Leaving the game two years ago after UGA's win, Tech fans had re-written their signs to say: "Your dog's still dead and we're still division champs."
