Why the Outrage from the Vol Nation?

The game was moved to Monday and the Vols are outraged. Fulmer even considered forfeiting the game.

Why the outrage from Vols? This is no different than NASCAR. A subject the Vol nation should be deeply familiar with. Sometimes weather is a problem, and they race on Monday.

As for Bertmann's comments that it's a burden for LSU. He's right. But, it isn't the hotel rooms or the fans or team that are the logistical problem for LSU. The logisitcal issue is arranging 150-200 law enforcement and Emergency officials to work security, traffic and manage public safety for the game in Baton Rouge with little notice.

Vol fans and Phil Fulmer need to realize that the entire NCAA and SEC doesn't revolve around them and what is most helpful to them.

No outrage here. I think the author of that article is an idiot. That is not how 99% of Tennessee fans feel. I don't know of anyone who has a problem with it being moved to Monday.

That's one of the dumbest things I've ever read on the internet.

Not to mention, craptucular writing. I mean, I know the whole readin' and writin' things are new to people in Tennessee, but that was brutal.

Fulmer is such a Grade A douchebag. Gee Phil, you wanting to move the game to the end of the year couldn't have anything to do with your team looking like absolute shit in their first two games now could it? That's just Fulmer the Hutt trying to stave off a 1-2 start. What an asshat.

NO, that's a coach trying to take care of his team and his staff. Only idiots would have flown into BR on Saturday. As CPF said, "folks are getting out of town and we are going in? Doesn't make sense". He is responsible for the safety and these kids and as a parent of one I would hope you would understand this, what an ass hat you are, IDIOT.

THE VOLS WILL WIN NO MATTER WHEN THE GAME WILL BE PLAYED. THE BULLDOGS LOST TOO MUCH TO RECOVER. TENN. ALMOST WON LAST TIME WITH A VERY SUBPAR TEAM. POPE WAS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE GAME, NOW HE IS GONE.
