Tech and UGA Complete Sweeps of Their Conferences

[Another poster] told me last week that this was the first class of UGA players to beat everyone in the SEC during their four years.

On the Buzzoff board tonight, it was reported that Chan's teams have now LOST to each ACC team at least once during the chanman's regime--also in its fourth year. That's a notable accomplishment in a league that includes Duke, Wake and several others that put up a big fight if you try and lose to them.

We could check that out, but if it's true--UGA seniors have beaten the whole SEC, Tech's have lost to the whole ACC--why, that needs publicity and appropriate public celebration. Maybe we could get the governor to issue a proclamation recognizing the two intra-league "sweeps."



(Editor's Note: In GT's defense, I don't think that they have lost to Boston College yet under Gailey. In Boston College's defense, they haven't played Georgia Tech yet -- PWD)
