The LSU fans are still pissed about Southern Cal claiming back to back national titles when LSU has the crystal football. Personally, I have no problem with it. But I enjoy old fashion southern spite as much or more than most.

About time someone said this. Another example of the South and SEC getting the shaft by the media.
USC agreed to the BCS. Rules didn't work out like they wanted them to. So they scrap it? Can't do that buddy. Then when the BCS works out for them in 2004, they praise it. What garbage.
I saw that LSU team play. One of teh best college football teams ever in my opinion. They would have beaten USC by 20. Did you see how easy USC's schedule was that year?
The media is responsible for all of this. I think the billboard should also read AP does not equal National Championship. And right next to it also say that Auburn won the Unprecidented So and So National Championship.

Yeah, we don't know shit. Sorry, but if 100 bloggers decided that damn thing, we'd be hearing, "bloggers suck." It's real easy to snipe when your name isn't on a byline. When the average dude fucks up at work, six people know about it. If a writer does, the whole world knows about it. But I guess we're supposed to be, as Rob Zombie put it, "more human than human."
They agreed to the rules and blah, blah, blah, I don't know anything about how the champtionships are awarded, blah, blah, their signed their name in blood, blah, blah.
