The kid will be fine. The Braves on the other hand...I don't know what to think.

Too bad he can't pitch

Francoeur is kind of getting a bad rap from Braves fans. Sure the Franchise is touting him as the next big thing in order to sell more tickets, but it's only his second season. Andruw Jones had a great first stint after he was called up, but the faded for a bit.
Look for Francoeur to struggle for the better part of this season, but turn it on late as he finds his identity. You cannot deny that his defense helps us even if his bat is not right now.
Jeff can pitch. Got the win in the state championship game a few years back.
Since our picthing *blows* right now, might as well bring him in during a blowout to keep the overworked bullpen from throwing it in.
But seriously, don't let him pitch.
Granted I'm a full-time Red Sox fan and a part-time Braves fan (primarily because they play just 55 miles down 316 from me), but I fear that Jeff Francouer is destined to become Ron Gant Redux - guy who has obvious flaws in his swing, but gets hot enough to reel off a week or so where he hits .427 with four home runs (two being game-winners) ... thus making you forget the rest of the time where he's hitting .241 and striking out once or twice a game.
