South Carolina, where its not a loss, its a moral victory.

Between those and the "article" on macondawg's blog, I'm getting fired up for this one. Is there something wrong about that?

Living in Columbia, I'd really, really, like to win this game to shut these folks up.

Every day at 9, 12 and 5, they play the rooster crowing, 2001, and the Carolina fight song from the roof of the building across the street from me. It's like an air raid drill. The rooster is so loud it scares me out of my chair about once a week. It is the single most annoying thing you've ever heard, and I get the privilege of hearing it thrice daily.

Not as annoying as that ridiculous barking that you faggots do in commemoration of your very original mascot, the bulldog. Wow, way to be really creative. Let's be the bulldogs....and, and, yeah, let's bark when we do good. Way to make your players hold hands too. Real macho. I conclude this dissertation by adding that Georgia fans are the worst fans in the history of athletics; this including ancient Romans and Clemson fans. Even when you're on the road you act like you're home, and that's....well, that's shitty fans for you. I was sitting in my dorm a few years ago when I was an undergrad. At 7:30 am the morning of the Georgia Carolina game in Columbia, I wake up to the sound of "woof, woof", or "ruff, ruff" or whatever kind of canine sounds you have created. Carolina will prevail this weekend gentlemen. Thanks for letting me post, and I will conclude by saying that I hate all of you bulldogs. Good day.

Wow, anonymous, that was a great rant. It really made me think long and hard about my behavior as a Georgia fan and how I conduct myself in public. However, you left out one rather salient fact.

SOUTH CAROLINA'S ALL-TIME RECORD AGAINST GEORGIA IS 13-43-2. HENCE, WE CAN BARK AS MUCH AS WE DAMN WELL PLEASE. SIT DOWN, TAKE YOUR MEDICINE, AND QUIT WHINING.

Thanks. This concludes your broadcast day.

I love it. This is what makes college football so great. I just wanted to see how long it would take a Georgia fan to respond to an blatant attack on their pride on their own blog. It took........56 minutes. Good job, Doug. Way to be there for your dawgz. Nice name you have too.

Anon: Only at South Carolina would that be considered a dissertation.

Amazingly, he's even gay at Georgia. . .the bar isn't that high but he clears it REALLY easily.

5th grade called, they want their insult back.

Doug, being a homosexual is very dangerous these days. It can lead to a variety of Sexually Transmitted Diseases, such as herpes, syphilus and the ever dreaded HIV. It can also hinder your social and professional status, limiting where you can safely go and lowering the ever-present "glass ceiling" within your preferred profession. I am worried about you Doug. Nice pic though. I guess gel is still cool.

Astro - Dawgnoxious and I combine for 3 degrees from UGA.

As for your claims that UGA fans aren't classy....calling people "faggots" and resorting to nanny-nanny-boo-boo type insults is apparently your idea of class.

To that I say..."Stay classy chicken little."

P-Dawg, or should I say sketchy 34 year old blogger man, nowhere in my comments have I said the word "faggot". I guess while attaining your three degrees, you guys failed to pick the art of reading. Interesting. Anyways, I want to apologize for the young man that called you a "faggot". He is a stinky, bad, dumb person. Maybe we can go get some ice cream this afternoon and make it all better.

I'm neutral as far as this rivalry goes. I went to a MAC school, Miami (Ohio), but I will say this. Childish as some of their sayings are, the gamecock posts are damn funny. Real funny. Georgia, much more boring. More astute, but that's not what I search blogs for. No hard feelings to either though guys.

yatesastro - you are correct. It was posted under the anon handle above.

But given that Gamecock fans apparently all share one brain, I think crediting the comment to you is pretty much a wash.

Incidentally, the UGA psychology department did a study a few years ago where they interviewed a group of men about their attitudes toward homosexuality, then hooked each of them up to brain monitors and made them watch gay porn. It turned out that the guys who professed the most backward, homophobic attitudes were the ones who got the most turned on by the porn. Just something for anonymous to think about before he posts again.

Astronaut Mike Dexter said...

By the way, you're probably really gonna hate what I put on my own blog this morning.

Anonymous said...

Who the flip would care enough to do a survey on that? To see who gets turned on the most by gay porn? WTF?! Doug, you and your UGA cronies' combacks continue to bore and occasionally disgust me. I thought you guys had more bark than bite, but you have neither. I will now leave this blog for good, because reading the comments from all of you make me sad for you and its not even funny. By the way, was it during that survey, Doug, when you found out that you were gay?

Anonymous said...

Why are all these anonymous Gamecocks so interested in the sexuality of Georgia fans?

Astronaut Mike Dexter said...

Dunno, but I'm getting the very unsettling feeling that anonymous is sweet on me. BTW, ten bucks says his "I will now leave this blog for good" promise turns out to hold about as much water as "no new taxes."
