Mr. Angel Finding Place in History

The Red and Black did a story a while back about one of the earliest bulldog mascots for Georgia. Pre-Uga, pre-Mike and pre-Butch. A dawg that had been left out of the history books.

According to the R&B, Dan Magill and Claude Felton are reviewing the history of the dog, and it looks like he may be written into the history books/media guide for his service from 1944-1946.

BTW -- if you ever want you pet to make a lasting impression on a big time college football program, here's some advice. Don't give him a rudy poo Nancy name like "Mr. Angel."
