New Power forward and junior college transfer Takais Brown has been suspended by Felton indefinitely. Academics.
This team needed a strong, athletic man inside to change the dynamics of the team. Without Takais back in the lineup soon, I struggle to understand how much we're going to be improved.
Hopefully, he'll get his act together in time for Felton to re-instate him.

We've started to ask questions about the recruiting of our offensive line, but I'd like to see some honest questions about the state of recruiting for our basketball program.
Felton made a splash with Louis Williams and Mike Mercer, but only Mercer enrolled ... and he doesn't appear to be the guy.
I don't know the reason, but unless your school is named "Duke" getting good basketball players and good students at the same time is somewhat elusive. I really wanted to see Brown play. I've watched a little bit of him in the gym at Ramsey, and was thinking he would have some say-so about people driving the lane, etc.
If we learned anything from Jim Harrick, et al., though, it's that we can't ignore academics.
