Georgia vs. Gonzaga Today on ESPN2 at 5:00 pm

Georgia (6-1) takes on #16 Gonzaga (9-2) today at 5:00 pm at the Gwinnett Arena in Duluth. The game will also air on ESPN2. The Zags have already beaten UNC, Texas and Washington. It's one of the few nationally televised games of the year for the Dawgs so don't miss it. They will appear on regional TV (Fox Sports, LF Sports and CSS) quite a few times. Some pre-game articles:Four of Georgia's next five games are against quality opponents. After Gonzaga, the schedule looks like this:
Tues. Dec 19th - Jacksonville (home) at 7:00 pm
Fri. Dec. 22nd - Georgia Tech (away) at 7:00 pm
Thur. Dec. 28th - Clemson (away) at 7:00 pm
Sun. Dec. 31st - Wisconsin (home) at 1:00 pm
If we can win two of the four remaining big non-conference games, we'll likely finish the season 10-3 out of conference (we have a Feb. game against Kennesaw State remaining).

Ten non-conference wins would mean that we would only need to go 6-10 in SEC play to make the NIT. An NIT birth would stabilize the program, and it would give Felton some breathing room. Ten non-conference wins with this schedule would also mean that 8-8 in the SEC would make us a near lock for the NCAA tourney as well.

Last year, the Dawgs went 5-11 in SEC play with a close loss to Auburn in the middle of the season. Six SEC wins is very obtainable. Eight SEC wins will be a stretch, but it's not out of the question if we stay healthy and suspension free.

Tonight is a big game against a quality Gonzaga team.
