Despite a brief flirtation with leaving early, Brandon Miller decided not to enter the NFL draft and will return for his senior season. Whether he changes positions from linebacker to defensive end remains to be seen. I'm not convinced he has the speed to replace Charles Johnson and Quentin Moses, but someone has to play end.
There's more where that came from, bizatch.

Well, he was fast enough to start at LB this year. So I imagine he is fast enough to play DE.
That's smart to taunt McFadden, college footballs best running back. If I'm not mistaken, the Ark speedster ripped off some long ones that afternoon and ended up shredding us for nearly 200.
Yeah - talk sh*t when you can contain the guy Brandon.
Anon @ 8:11, I was trying not to take a shot at his productivity at LB this season.
Miller, is big, strong, and fast. But I don't think he's fast enough to play LB for us. He is, however, big and strong and fast enough to play end, and maybe drop back in zone pass coverage on selected blitzes, and we need to blitz more. He is definitely not fast enough to be a rush end like Howard is, though. I would prefer he play end over LB.
Yeah. I agree He really would be a more productive DE then LB. And I also like the idea of dropping him into coverage kinda like how the Giants played Kiwaniku this year in the NFL.
Hate to tell you, but moving Miller to DE won't help either. Why? He's just too passive to play defense in the SEC. In hindsight maybe TE was the way to go for him, since he seems to lack the mean streak and killer insticnt one needs to run down SEC opponents. LBs should thrive off of contact, Miller acts like he hates hitting people.
Quick, name the last time Brandon Miller hit someone and the crowd said "Oooooooohhh!".......... crickets.
