What a maddeningly appropriate ending to Mudcat's career.
There is some free rag that Dantzler puts out that I was reading in really gross Chinese restaurant near the start of the season.
They had an interview with Mudcat in the publication. He was asked..."What is your goal for your final season at Georgia?"
He honestly said something like, "To make a play."
It was so sad. He talked about all the injuries and the back surgery and the position changes. He said his career had been a big disappointment to him, but that he wanted to take something positive from the experience. Or something like that.
His final play was his first sack. I thought..."Good for him!"
Bummer for the kid. No one was more frustrated than he was that his body didn't cooperate.
