If you missed last night's Georgia vs. Georgia Tech baseball game, you missed a great time. Perfect weather and perfect outcome.
Couple of observations from the Baseball Game:
-- Danny Hall and Andy Landers should start a support group for coaches that drive their programs to the highest levels but are completely incapable of beating their rivals when it really matters. Hall can't beat Georgia if anyone is watching/caring or if the season is on the line. Landers can't beat Summit on days that end in "Y."
-- Danny Hall must be paid by the hour. He coached slow ball, and he drug the game kicking and screaming into a torcherously slow pace.
-- Children's Hospital of Atlanta runs a great event, but they really need to work on a few logistical kinks in the system. The line to get into the stadium was entirely too long. Two more screening/ticket checking stations would've helped hundreds (if not thousands) get into the game on time. I realize that more overhead/workers cuts into the fundraising, but a better game experience encourages more people to invite their friends next year.
