Scott Howard's Call with Video

UgaMummaRa has posted the video of Mikey Henderson's catch with Scott Howard's call.

Thanks to one of our readers who sent me the high quality audio of the call that I forwarded to UgaMummRa for the video. Check his other videos.

One and Done? I know Scott Howard is trying not to be Larry Munson, but I don't think that will stick quite like 'Hobnail Boot', 'Old Lady Luck has defeated them', or 'Run Lindsay Run'.

Larry called around 400 games at Georgia during his 41+ year career. Of which, there are only 20 or so games that most folks can remember a single call.

I don't think that anyone is saying that "1 and Done" is up there with the Hobnailed Boot.

Pft whatever, mine was up first! ; p

Howard is not Munson and I, for one, like that about Howard. No one can replace Munson but I thought Howard did an outstanding job. The best thing about Howard is he's a Georgia homer just like good 'ol Larry.
This call gives me the same amount of "goose bumps" as any Munson call.

I really liked Howard's broadcast. He's a bit better than Munson is at letting us know what's actually happening on the field. Scott's excited voice could use some work. I felt like I was being yelled at sometimes.

Howard and Zeier did a great job. Howard's delivery and voice are awesome and Zeier brought insight and energy that added to the broadcast.

Great job and i hope this is the team of the future.

I listened to Blackledge and Patrick simply because I can't stand the delay when mixing radio with television.

That being said, I still think Howards call was wonderful. "One and done Baby!" gave me chills the first and second time I heard it.

(The first time I heard it was on my honeymoon)

I, for one, am proud to say I was listening to Howard and not to the ESPN idiot ask questions about Brittany Spears at this moment in the game. That is still unbelievable to me...

Where can one get the .mp3 of Scott's call on this? It may not be "Sugar Falling from the Sky," but it sure was sweet!!!

im glad someone else caught the britney spears comment on the espn broadcast. It was bad enough the whole time they were kissing bamas tail and rooting for them. ESPN is awful. Great call Howard. Keep it up.

I also have complained about the Audio Delay over the years. It seems no matter what radio station you tune to, the radio audio is always ahead of the TV coverage. Folks have wondered outloud for years about fixes… Here is my 2 cent

Subscribe to the “Gxtra” plan at georgiadawgs dot com. The basic/cheap plan allows you to get live Bulldawgs radio network coverage. Unlike over the air broadcasts from the local radio station, the internet feed runs BEHIND the TV broadcast ! The kicker is, if you have a TIVO/DVR box, PAUSE the TV broadcast about 10 secs or until it catches up with the online audio feed. I had my computer speakers jacked all the way up and had Howard synch’ed with the TV within 1 second or better !!
