G-Day Video Highlights

Word of warning. This is the single weakest song selection for UGA football highlights that I've seen to date. I strongly recommend hitting mute. Beyond that, I do appreciate someone (Jalindo) taking the time to edit and upload the video.

Also, the Banner-Herald has a great interview with Richt online.

Poor Jalindo. The guy is getting blasted all over the Blogosphere for his song choice. I kind of feel bad for the guy.

That being said, just because I feel bad for him doesn't mean that he doesn't deserve it. The song selection sucks.

The "Electric Slide" would have been a better choice, even if it has no relevance whatsoever.

My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion would have been a better choice.

I am a huge college football fan, but I never listen to music. Apologies for those who dislike the song. The song felt appropriate, though old and out of date. I never get tired of old music for some reason. I just needed something to replace the announcers voices.

I'll work on my musical repertoire. Just keep in mind, it's college football highlights and not MTV... wait, they don't even play music videos anymore... never mind.

Since When Did We Have a Red backgroung in our endzones?

i wonder if that was drought related. They may have only had enough water / watering permission to keep the non-red areas green.

Who knows.

I think the red endzones look pretty sharp.

On an unrelated note, I saw a G Day shirt that someone had on at the game. Does anyone know if there are "G Day" shirts out there?

Anonymous said...

yeah they do look damn good.

FWIW, Jalindo, I usually mute the sound when the track is rap or heavy metal (ugh). Here's to you for doing something different.
