The Diamond Dawgs are still alive. They avenged Friday's loss to Lipscomb this afternoon, 14-3. Tonight's game against Tech is a win-or-go-home situation. First, no one wants for this baseball season to end. Second, no one wants to see Tech celebrate advancing to the superregionals on our field.
Tonight's game is not sold out. If you're anywhere close to Foley Field, get over there and scream "Nerds."

I was in the band and still play in a band. Ain't nothing nerdy about that, dig it?
It's the lone trumpet that plays the solo at the beginning of the game from the Southwest corner of the stadium. Is it Moreno making Tigers look silly on the way to a TD? No, but a pretty cool tradition. Ease up.
Looks like the Dogs killed 'em.
Just got back from Foley for the day. Nick Montgomery pitched an absolute gem, retiring 17 gnats in a row. The place wasn't sold out, but it was as full as it has been all weekend and was rocking. Kudos to the party beyond Kudzu hill bringing the proper at bat music and "Glory Glory". Let's hunker down one more time tomorrow night!
Seriously? Umm anon 7:41 you must not be a Dawg fan, and certainly not an alum. EVERYONE knows the Redcoats kick ass and are the antithesis of a nerd.
Anon - 7:41,
The picture is there because I like the lone trumpet solo player.
Sort of a perk of having the blog. I can put up whatever graphics I want. lol.

That banner kicks ass.
So I heard the disappointing news that game 7 is sold out tonight. I know they sold tickets to the bleachers right below Kudzu Hill, but can I watch it from the top of the hill or do I need permission from the people that live in those two houses that sit atop the hill?
