This is a must read. It'll make you all warm inside. The Charleston Post-Courier talks about Mark Richt -- the man and the coach. You don't normally get this sort of press from a rival's back door paper.

Burger is a Georgia grad. I grew up in Chas and CU/USC take up 99% of the sports coverage. On recent trips back I have noticed more and more UGA stickers on cars, so maybe there's and underground migration.
I'm a Georgia transplant to Charleston. I've been here about six years now and every year you see more and more dawgs. I've often joked that we're not far from annexing Charleston County onto Georgia. The Cocks don't really appreciate my humor.
The Richt article was sweet. It's the banner headline on the front of the sports section and the picture of CMR is about the size of a letter size page of paper. I usually don't really care for Burger's stuff, but it's hard not to like him today.
For anybody that might be around Chucktown in August, the Lowcountry Bulldog Club is having an event on the 12th. Check out lowcountrydawgs.com for info...
I used to work with Burger. He ain't far behind Richt on the short list of good guys in sports and life in general. Aside from being a Georgia grad who's always represented us well in enemy territory, he's fought a very open battle with prostate cancer, writing about it openly in his columns.
Reminds me of a conversation between a lady and our well beloved Pastor.
She told him what a teddy bear he was and how everyone in the community loved him...His reply was,"I can name three or four who don't."
Everyone loves CMR-except the gators. Some of their comments have been almost psycho....Oh well,I guess you can't please everyone.
