As pointed out in various places, it's really unusual for Richt to open up and share such gushing praise about true freshmen. Even when he thinks they are going to be special, he usually keeps the praise to a minimum. It'll be interesting to see if the praise levels stay this high through the three contact scrimmages.
It's a whole different deal once Reshad Jones is allowed to clobber you.

The media's lovefest with AJ is fine with me.
It's not like ten or fifteen years ago where he would be considered the savior of the program.
Also...it's funny to me that so many Dawg fans are worried about being ranked number one out of the gate. It wasn't that long ago that the (then) football coach was warned he needed to show "significant improvement."
