Chick-Fil-A awaits Dawg Fans in Tempe

Per a press release
The Phoenix-area Chick-fil-A restaurant franchise Operators would like to welcome University of Georgia football fans that will be traveling to Arizona for the Bulldogs’ match-up versus the Arizona State Devils. Fans in town for the game can enjoy “home-cooking” by eating Chick-fil-A prior to the game at the Devil’s Lair tailgating area beginning at 2 p.m. on game day, Sept. 20. The Chick-fil-A “Eat Mor Chikin®” Cow will be on-hand to welcome fans to the game.
The Devil's Lair is located just outside of the stadium.

Screw that - Especially since the local franchise there printed thos "Bring On Georgia" signs. Not cool!

From someone that never gets to eat Chick-Fil-A...it is worth the trip alone to get to eat some.

Sounds like a PR move to me.

Should we be concerned that the chicken might be too dry out in that Arizona heat?

The "Bring on Georgia" signs were part of The Plan.

Chick-fil-A: ASU 2008 :: Pat Dye: Bama 2002

We are going to "bring it on". We're bringing our Liberian scud missile and a host of others ready to break some necks. ASU will STFU after the first 10 minutes.

If those sign were part of a plan similar to Pat Dye's remarks, then that's NOT good news for us. Remember what we did to Bamam when Dye said we weren't man enough?

No right-thinking Bulldog fan wants any part of Chik-fil-a making us look arrogant & foolish.

the operator of the near-by Chik-Fil-a is a UGA alum..and a good guy. You know you'll eat it.

I pray that Chick-fil-a changes its corporate policy and starts opening on Sundays. The irony...

+ 1 Hank.

As a southerner conditioned to eating fried chicken every Sunday for most of my life, the idea that the best fried chicken franchise on Earth isn't open on Sundays is still just too much to handle.

That being said, could somebody bring me back something from the In and Out Burger?

but bonjangles IS open on sunday.

That ain't ever gonna happen, Hunkering Hank.

Zaxby's is open Sundays, it's sufficient til Monday rolls around.

Note to hairy dawg: There is NO SUCH THING as a right-thinking Bulldog fan!!!

Maybe if Chik-Fil-A wants to pretend they care about college football, they should change it back to "The Peach Bowl, sponsored by Chik-Fil-A" instead of the utterly stupid "Chik Fil A Bowl."

Sorry. Chik-Fil-A is good, but their treatment of college football and its traditions is abhorrent.

I've got great tickets to the game on the Lower Level, 35 yard line, row 23 but can't make it to the game...

I'm selling for $150 each, which isn't too bad for an excellent seat! Other tix in this area of the field are going for lots more.

I'm in the Phoenix area so if you are interested, let me know and I can deliver them tomorrow or Saturday.
