Evil Richt Pokes a Stick at Saban

Richt is clearly enjoying the build up to this game. Yesterday, he poked a stick at Saban, and on Tuesday he responded to Saban's blackout shenanigans. Tomorrow, I'm hoping that he comes to the press conference in a Miami Dolphins jersey.

Mmm, nothing tastes as good as evil. Where's the goatee, Richt?

Saban could show up in a USCe jersey and guarantee at least a close game. Or a Vandy jersey and get the win (the game is in Athens, right?)

Man there sure are a lot of you Bama fans roaming around. I love evil Richt.

Wow anon 3:13 you're brushing the dust off some two year old smack talk there aren't you. Were you guys even bowl eligible back then?

CMR could show up in an Auburn jersey, or perhaps a Mississippi State or Louisiana-Monroe jersey would be more appropriate.

Take your pick on jerseys to pysch out Saban, half the SEC beat em last year.

Man, if I didn't know better I'd say it sounds like Richt doesn't care too much for Saban!!! Think that '03 Championship game still eats at Richt some? I love it. We will ALWAYS be prepared for a Saban or LSU team as long as Richt is here!

uh oh. Evil Richt is on the loose, and he's relaxed and focused. Evil Richt's players seem to be taking their cues from their coach. Nick sounds like he's wound up a little tightly, and his players seem to be squeaking a little bit. But they have a PLAN!

Guess what, fellas? As that shrewd philosopher, Mike Tyson, once noted before he faded into Bolivian, "Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the mouth." Evil Richt knows when you've been sleeping. He knows when you're awake. He knows it when you bang your gums, so shut up for goodness sake...

We'll see if Nick's uptight Belichickian approach works this time, but here's something to ponder for Tide fans. That ain't Tom Brady pulling the trigger for Alabama. And UGA figures to put up a bit more of a struggle than the hapless Razorbacks.

There is great disorder under the heavens, and the situation is excellent. Nick and the Alabama players are fuming about black jerseys and telling people how great they are. Evil Richt and UGA are taking care of bidness, because that's just how they roll.

Man, this stuff has taken on a soapoperatic life of it's own...and I love it.Lord help me,but I do love it.
I said it earlier, and I'll say it again. The Bammers are SOOOH beaten.

What are the morons from 'Bama gonna do next? Come out and start stomping on our "G". It's stupid to agitate the #3 team that can (and will) whip your ass all the way back to Tuscaloosa.

As if this game needed more hype...wow. CMR should take that act on the road. What a riot. Saturday can't get here soon enough.

I think coach Richt deserves a cameo in Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog. This is just too good.

Has anyone else had A.C. D.C.'s "Back in Black" stuck in their head all week or is just me?

Evil Richt Rocks.

First: Saban is an awful human being. Everyone knows this. Alabama fans knew this before he came to Alabama.

Second: I wish Richt would stop this stuff and focus on the f'ing game.

That said, I love Evil Richt.

Anon 11:47, How in your right mind can you say you wish Richt would stop worrying about this stuff? This is classic. This is exactly who we need Richt to be and exactly the swagger Georgia Football needs.

Saban and the Tide are trying to bully us to make us think they're something they're not. Richt is calling their bluff, basically saying that he's seen all the bravado and he's one upping them. You think Richt isn't focusing on the game? Get a clue. He's never been more focused in his life! He's calling them out because we ain't scared of nobody.

More than that, he's the loosey-goosey antithesis to all the tightly bound robots in this conference (Meyer, Miles, Saban, Petrino). It's beautiful to see him becoming the leader we knew he would be. Just hope all the Dawg fans get that and I'm just surprised some wouldn't. Evil Richt is the best thing to happen to GA football in a long, long time.

I'm pretty sure he let slip that he wasn't that impressed with Clemson when he saw the Bama-Clemson game in person too earlier this week (I think on 680)

C,

Did you just call Les Miles a tightly-bound robot?

Please tell me you completely missed the 2007 college football season. Otherwise, that's one of the dumbest things I've ever read.

To 7:27 anon, when you lose to Vandy, you're going to hear about it for waaaaaay more than 2 years.

Anonymous said...

Anon 1:36...

Vandy = SEC
Louisiana-Monroe = Sun Belt Conference

I think I'd rather have to hear about losing an SEC game than how I managed to lose to a glorified Division II school.

How's that Auburn rivalry going, by the way? We've done quite well against them lately, thanks....

I too have had "Back in Black" stuck in my head since Sunday evening when Evil Richt announced the black jerseys. I can't wait.

Anonymous said...

maybe we should wear tennesse jeries since they didn't seem to have a problem kicking your ass the last 2 years

Anonymous said...

love how the bama fans have to bring up all these other teams and live vicariously through them since the Tide has been ebbing out against the Dawgs here lately!

Anonymous said...

I don't see any of Georgia's rival coaches walking around with six fingers held up in the air.

Anonymous said...

DO not be surprised at black helmets.

Remember all the Richt comments about how wearing black jersies was silly talk and such and then out come the black jerseys.

I am not a fan of what I would envision black helmets looking like.

Anonymous said...

dawg 05,

i don't hear any of alabama's rival fans talking about how they won 15 of the last 18, so you can shut the fuck up about the auburn.

Anonymous said...

Hey anon 12:11...I'd be touchy too if my team sucked like yours does.Newsflash dude..auburn ain't s***!

Anonymous said...

anon 12:34,

if auburn "ain't shit" then why have you lost them 14 of the last 22? oh thats right because you weren't shit either until the last few years.

Anonymous said...

i've heard the black helmets aren't happening by a guy that confirmed that the red jerseys were a lock well in advance. he has great uniform info.

Anonymous said...

I have never heard a team that hasn't won anything in 50 years talk so much trash. All they are doing is motivating our players even more.

Anonymous said...

maybe mark should come dressed in a white flag?

to allschoolsaid:
great struggle; looked at a lot like dead dogs tonight.

Anonymous said...

to all:
enough said; a butt-kicking in your house!

Anonymous said...

Its all true....Georgia fans are classless.....you run your mouth or better yet bark alot......and as you can see you have no more bite than the bulldogs do between the hedges. Roll Tide! Sabanation is a pretty place! And better luck next year. Oh by the way do you think you will ever black out again....LOL....what a joke!

Anonymous said...

there is a great picture this morning on the first page of the Tuscaloosa News sports section of an UGA fratboy looking as though someone took away his lollipop.

btw, where is j.r.b.bulldog? probably wishing that he was a Tech fan.

ky.dawg: the G that was stomped on was on the front of the players' jersies.

Thanks for the laughs guys!

Anonymous said...

the silence is deafening.
go figure!

dawgo5:
I saw a lot of UGA fans leaving your house with 1 finger saluting the celebrating Bama fans. How about a little class, man!

Anonymous said...

yeah, if I were a dawg, I would be quiet also. only in your imagination were you a national consideration. just a bunch of *-licking dogs. back to the puppy house with all of you, including "no-show"
