Gator Hate Week is Upon Us

When the economy is on the skids and the world looks uncertain, I take comfort in falling back on the rock solid truths of life. The truths I've come to know are these:
  • I love College Football.
  • I love Georgia.
  • I love Winning.
  • And I hate the Gators.
It is with these constants that we can rebuild America and move forward together. Now, with that random BS behind us. Check out these links:PWD

So Gamble tied NCAA and SEC records filling in for Ellerby. What happens this week if (hopefully) Ellerby returns? Is Gamble good enough to start alongside Ellerby and Curran?

Man I hope Curran gives Tebow some hell this week.

Florida is the type of team where, if you hit them in the mouth right off tha bat, you'll knock them off their game. Our defense needs to go in and play the hardest and toughest they've ever played. Our DBs need to finally knock down some passes and make some tackles.

Biggest game of their lives. They must step up, so our offense has a chance.

I think we should move Gamble to Tight End....great hands.

In reality, I think Ellerbe is vital for us this weekend. Gamble struggled a little against the run against LSU in looking at the film.

BUT, Ellerbe will also be rusty, and this ain't the team you want to be rusty against.

Gamble made a lot of mistakes on Saturday. Some of Scott's big runs happened because he overran the play or could not get off his block fast enough.

He did have 13 tackles, though, along with the two big INTs, and he obviously has a nose for the ball.

He may have missed a few runs, but without him returning those two INTs for TDs, we have a tie game on our hands. He needs to play.

Gamble is a Sam backer. That's where he played prior to Ellerbe's injury, and that's what he'll play now that Ellerbe is back. He'll probably split time there with Dent.

Is Ellerbe back?

Ellerbe is a senior. This is the biggest game of the year. I think he'll definitely play some but not a lot. Too rusty.

I am I not correct in thinking that Ellerbe won't play this much because of the spread offense that CUM runs, I just realized that is pretty funny.

Was he not the one that did not get much play time at the beginning of the year because we played so many nickle and dime packages?

I could totally be wrong in this but I thought it was him. If it was him then the discussion of having him back seems to lack a certain excitement. He will just be out on the field to give 100% on special teams and the occasional defensive play.

If it was not then disregard this post except for the previous "funny" I made.

I disagree with your entire premise under the notion that I believe EVERY week to be Gator Hate Week.

We just happen to be playing them this week.

Exactly.

Florida could be playing against Satan himself for the soul of all mankind and I'd still root against the Gators.

Maybe after the Dawgs take them down this weekend, Urban and Teblow can have that magical weekend they've been planning at Disney World.

Ahh, I can see it now...

Crying into each others arms on the Teacups. Debating the merits of the Spread Option on Thunder Mountain. Consoling each other the way only men can on the "It's a Small World" ride (you know why those boats rock back and forth, right?).
