This probebly isnt the spot for this but here we go. What do you guys think of a direct snap to Knowshon or King, while the one that isnt getting the snap is set as the back. We could try to run a triple option with this if either can throw the ball. If this was implamented and used ssparingly I think we could get some huge gains with this. The d will have to commit to the ball carrier (being such a threat) while the other is there for a pitch or possibly hit a reciver in the middle. I know this isnt original but I have ben thinking of this all season.

wes, I don't know if I like that formation in our situation. If you watch Stafford after a handoff, he doesn't do the usual run away from the action that most QBs do. He actually runs over and blocks a smallish player unless they're in play action. The big benefit to a direct snap is that it gives you 11-on-11 in a known rushing situation instead of the usual 11-on-10 (defense vs. offense minus QB). As long as Stafford continues to throw blocks and isn't stupid about who he hits, I don't think we really need the direct snap. Then again, I might just be biased after seeing all the ineffective right sweep direct snaps Donnan called for Terrance Edwards.

This is unrelated to this topic, but....
I understand the Vandy game is on Raycom...what does that mean for us folks in Atlanta who have DirecTV? Is raycom televised on the WB (36) or something or does it mean we cannot catch the game on TV?

Raycom has an affiliate listing on their website for who carries each specific game. WATL has Georgia vs. Vandy.

I just cannot imagine Clemson actually hiring Bobby Johnson. Even though I am not fond of them, they are a big time opportunity for a coach; I think they should getter a better option!
