Snowy Sanford Stadium and North Campus Pics

Image: NoopsDawg

The View from the Upper Deck blog has pictures of snow covered North Campus and Sanford Stadium. The small pics on his site don't do the images justice. Click on the pics to enlarge.

Update: Dancing in the Endzone (a newer UGA blog) has more snow pics. If I were to label this collection, it would be called "Life in the Big 10." That's sort of what came to me after seeing the tractor plowing Sanford Drive.

We're also hoping to get some photos uploaded to our own blog after IronChefTurducken's power comes back on.

There's a large armada of Georgia Power vehicles cruising around the city, but who knows how long it's going to take them to get the whole grid back up. It was pretty nasty last night, lines and trees down everywhere. I'm actually writing this from the Taco Stand downtown, lol.

Was there an Iron Chef where turducken was the secret ingredient? Am I missing something?

Great pics! I've got a few more from different angles on my blog. Also including: A snow plow going in front of the stadium sign!

you'd almost think you're looking at Purdue's stadium . . .until you consider 20,000 more seats, conference title flags, national title flags, etc. . .

That's pretty funny, but Purdue doesn't have money for frivolities like snow plows. They have plenty of tractors, though.

ABH had a photo from inside the stadium.

I live up in eastern Washington State almost on the campus of WA State University ... 7 Miles from the University of Idaho ... and have unfortunately grown to hate snow ... it snows here in May and June ... cold so bad it hurts and kills people ... but I do remember the thrill of snow on the UGA campus when I was there and the wonder and excitement of the Florida kids who had never seen the stuff ... Thanks for the pictures of "Home" and scenes from back in America ... Thanks

Didn't know if you guys had seen this yet, as EDSBS says, "If something fatigues Rennie Curran, we want no part of it."
