Come on, learn to relax a little people. I think this is hilarious. They clearly weren't comparing him to "the son of God". They were mocking the idea of it. It's not like they formulated a plan so "T.T." would succeed on his water walking attempt.

I never get tired of asking this questions....how stupid does Mitch Mustain's momma feel now? He's gone from 8-game winning starts as a freshman to 3rd string QB at USC...and they just named a freshman the starter there.
Ahhh...but Timmy can sit courtside at the Eastern Conference Finals and no one says a word. I am sure he just walked up and bought the ticked at the window.
And Dubbayoo....thanks for the Mustain update. I just figured he had been kicked off at USC since I never heard his name in the discussion. Personally, I figure a transfer to SE Missouri State may be in his future.
I was going to post the exact same thing. Tebow has already had a great career. No need to lie about what he did (or stretch the truth at best) to try to make him sound even better.
If he wins a MNC this year, sure, by all means include him in the pantheon of college football's elite.
If he doesn't, however, he's just a great quarterback that won a MNC and managed to win a Heisman in the crappiest season a Heisman winner's team has had in a while. He'll have a lot of company in the 1-MNC, 1-Heisman club.
Personally, I think they should be writing all of these articles about Charlie Strong. That defense is the reason they have those two national titles. Maybe then somebody will hire him away.

How quickly folks forget about Chris Leak being their QB in 2006, and Tebow was a part-time fullback.
