What's to say about this game?

Our offense is bad. Their offense is worse. Our special teams are bad. Their special teams are actually worse because they don't have Drew Butler or Blair Walsh. And their defense is better than ours.

Beyond that...this is a helmet game. Which ever team plays the smartest and hardest wins.

The questions of the week:
  • Will the Dawgs let LSU beat them twice by pouting their way through this?
  • Will the Vols come out flat for the 12:21 pm start as the home team often does?
  • Will the crowd turn on the Vols if Crompton puts them in a position to go down 10+ early?
  • Will Washuan Ealey know any passing plays this week?
This is the game of the great unknown. All that's known is neither team can afford to lose this game. The Vols can't start 2-4 with games remaining against Bama, Ole Miss and South Carolina, and we can't go 3-3 with games remaining against UF, Auburn and Tech.

We have to win.

I find it so hard to believe that the freshmen can't pick up on the plays. I mean, seriously, there are only maybe 10 that Georgia even runs. How is it that every other team in the country can plug in a freshman, but Georgia can't find one that can memorize a handful of plays?

Because, Realist, it is the same coachspeak we have been fed for years.

Why are we to assume Ealey doesn't know pass blocking when it appears that Samuel can't grasp running?

BS line after BS line . . .

Reading that article on AJ and Tennessee's concerns really makes me worry about TK being out w/ the concussion. I'm afraid we're going to miss him more than most realize.

Unless OchoDos comes back from... Well, where has he been again???

Where are the Dawg fans Hunkering tomorrow in Obnoxiousville? Had a hard time finding any Dawg fans in '07.

I'm not going to Knoxville just to watch our team get outcoached once again. It's a damn shame and I'm sick of it.

However, I WILL be making the trip to Nashville next week for Vandy. There's no chance in hell we lose that game right?

With the way we've been playing, who knows anymore.

If we lose to UT, I'm cancelling my trips to Vandy, Jacksonville, and Atlanta (for the Tech game).

I'm sick and tired of this sh*t.

Coach Mark Richt please *@$!# do something about your assistant coaches. Our philosophy on all sides of the ball are PATHETIC! We are getting outcoached by less talented teams. We should be 0-5 if not for individual talent stepping up. These are some of the worst coaches in the country, I kid you not.

I really hope Washaun gets a chance to tote the rock and show what he can do this weekend.

Go Dawgs

In other sporting news...(set to the tune of Bill Murray):

It's in the HOLE! It's in the HOLE! He's done it again folks.

What an incredible day, GOLF is now an olympic SPORT.

If Ealey is in on pass plays ol' Monte will confuse him with blitzes. But you are right we only have a half dozen plays that I can remember in the first place. Most notably to me is the sweep to the short side of the field. Awesome every time...

What has me worried is the 60% chance of thunder showers throughout the game. Cox had trouble in the rain against ASU. He threw 2 bad picks. He also said he has a hard time throwing in the rain because his hands aren't that big. Tennessee's defense is a lot better than ASU and this game is on the road.

What the deuce? I was just about to make a similar comment about the weather in Knoxville tomorrow.

And my name is Rick too...

Did I enter an alternate reality?

Uhh...fix the title.

It should be either "What's there to say about this game?" or "What to say about this game?"

Do it. Now.

So Lane Kiffin can recognize a problem on his kick coverage team and fix it, but Richt insists playing younger and less talented players is the way to go...sigh...

More scary than the rain is the talented safety. If Bobo calls those deep posts, Cox might make Berry the all time NCAA int. record holder. Hopefully he'll have our Tight Ends on shorter routs where they mismatch an LB and Berry is less likely to demorzalize us.

Anon 2:23, you are giving Bobo and Richt way too much credit. Do you actually think they can alter their play calling? Ha! Me thinks not a chance in hell! I am sure that we will see our talented TE's end up with 3 balls thrown to them all day! Bobo and Richt are fast becoming clown like! GATA Dawgs!

Going to start a crazy rumor, let's see if anyone takes it seriously:

At the end of the season Evans tells Richt that Fabris and WM have to go; Richt refuses and resigns/gets fired.

Evans then hires Derek Dooley!
