If you're a Scout.com subscriber, check out this article on Kwame Geathers by David Hale. It talks about the transformation his body has undergone after showing up absurdly and shockingly out of shape last year at 355 lbs. He was so badly out of shape from a cardiovascular standpoint that he couldn't run a *half* gasser to the 50 yard line when he arrived. Damn.
He's now down to 310, and feeling great. He's making it happen in the weight room, and he's ready for ball. Good for him and the strength guys for turning the kid's body and football future around.

Possible NT in the 3-4?
Mount Kwame?
Would love to see him be that NG clog needed in the 3-4.
Boehm
I'm sure it's exciting for our S&C guys to have someone with a ton of athletic ability and no training come in. He's like a lump fo clay to work with. I'm sure a kid from the Geathers family was able to do great things with the right training.
I hear alot negative about our strength and conditioning people, and am wondering if there's any fairness to those reports. Anything around the blogosphere?
I know I won't get a lot of credibility by staying anonymous but I have to. From people inside the program, they have told me that NFL scouts have criticized the S&C program a great deal. The methods being used are not much different then 20 years ago. NFL players from Georgia have been told that those workouts are outdated.
After seeing how Cody looked...I'll never question our guys again.
