Game Day in Athens

It never gets old.  The feeling of excitement.  The sun on your face.  The crowd that seems to become less throngs of people and more an organic being the closer you get to Sanford.

There is a palatable adrenalin surge when you walk through the tunnel into the bowl.  The noise goes from loud to being a part of you.  Your sounds are not longer yours, but a part of the sounds of the stadium.

92,000 of your closest friends.  Red.  Black. The lone trumpeter. Glory, glory. Spell Georgia. Defend the "G". Krypton Fanfare at the start of the 4th Quarter. Hail to Georgia. The Alma Mater.

These are my people.  This is my home.

Go Dawgs!

I bet you love those clips of Herschel back in '81. Yeah, great shit!

Now back to reality - we are an underperforming program with a coach who is desperately trying to become a winner again.

So put the 25 years of Vince Dooley tape down and start demanding that this sleeping giant wake the F up.

DEMAND BETTER!

Yeah that game we lost today was BRUTAL! Wait, what?

yeah demand better, every week. Now, demanding better and being a lunatic are two different things. Ask TN how acting crazy and going for a sexy hire worked out for them. If beating FL every year is the yardstick then no one in the SEC has a consistent record of beating them for about, well close to two decades. Yes, 25 years of Dooley, we beat them. Now, its gonna be who beats ALA! We got a great guy on Defense, who is improving this team, week to week. All I could here from folks on Sat. was we can get Kirby Smart. Right a D guy, when our offense is the major issue. Everyone is a genius on the internet and the stands.

Anyone else get tired of Krypton Fanfare getting drowned out in Jacksonville when Florida does their "we are the boys from old florida" thing?

For the matter, it happens every time the opposing team's band decides to play.
