- Can we get what we need out of this week to make sure we take care of business next? This game offers a full speed game run down for the Tech game, especially for the defense. Getting these game reps will help us get ready for Tech.
- Can we get through this week without injuries dealing with the blocking schemes? Not cut blocks. Chop blocks. And just football. We are entering three pretty important weeks of football. Getting to the end of Thanksgiving weekend with no season ending injuries is huge.
- Is MM all good? Morgan looked very good last week. It was the first game all of his kicks looked strong, straight, and confident. He'll have some chances for PATs and a FG or two this week. Going 100% on them is huge, especially considering we'll likely need him to be that kicker the first weekend in December.

This may be much ado about nothing, but I'm a little concerned about switching back from the triple option schemed defense in preparation for the SEC championship.
That's a good point and one that I've been thinking about, too. Hopefully, having this game gives us the flexibility to spend some time next week working on SECCG prep.
I've been happy to hear that we are using out base run defense, instead of trying to install a special defense for these two games. Granted, I might not feel so happy after next week, but I think we can stop Southern and Tech enough without having to get too cute.
Sounds like you know more about the x's and o's side of things than I do, TD.. and I have to agree, GT isn't exactly wreaking havoc in the meat of their own conference. Their defense is really in shambles and so I think the worse case scenario, we win in a shootout. That wouldn't bother me.
OH HELL YES IT HAPPENED!!!
WE CONTROL OUR DESTINY!!!
GO DAWGS!!!
