At least that is the rumor. I haven't been able to find anything definite on that, but based on last year and what I've heard, today is the day. The points cutoff was 12,000 or so last year.

The order form that came in the mail says that today is the day for "Confirmation of orders for SEC Championship game". I take that to mean confirmation emails will go out today. And knowing our ticket office, the emails will be sent at 4:59pm.
Last year's cutoff was 12,050. People with that score and above got tickets.
