Dawgs take on Texas A&M at 5pm

Big game. A&M finally got their shit together held off Missouri with a last second win in College Station, their first win over a team with a heartbeat since beating Kentucky at Rupp on January 12th. This is only their fifth true road game this season, but after that win in Lexington, you can't say this team isn't going to handle traveling well. Still, they have looked like a team in ditharray since that win.

How big is this game for Georgia? We are at the half way point in the SEC schedule. Georgia is three games in front of the bottom three and two in front of Tennessee and Auburn, with wins over both. Putting another win over Texas A&M virtually assures us of not having to play the first night of the SEC tournament, since we'll be two wins and two head to heads over TAMU, as well. I'll keep one foot in front of the other about the post season, but Arkansas visits Vandy and Ole Miss is in Missouri. We are currently tied for fifth with Arky and Missouri.

If we win, it wouldn't be a shock that we'd be all alone in fifth place.

Tip is 5pm at Stegeman, but don't wait until tip to get there.

PS: I realize that you might have noted I won't be there, as we have a boat load of people coming to our house. The wife scheduled our Mardi Gras party without consulting the hoops schedule. In fact, several folks who would normally be here for the full festivities won't be here until after the game. I'm not happy, but it is what it is. The game will be on here. I need several of you to go to make up for my absence.
