Not a fan - Georgia's rebranding

I'm not a fan of the new Bulldog. It'll probably grow on me, maybe like an ugly puppy or one of those super fat rabbits, but it has all of the makings of us looking back in 15 years and wonder what were we thinking. Like feathered bangs, Bike coach's shorts, or the Crash Test Dummies.

As Paul Lukas at Uni-Watch put it
but it feels kinda generic, like they got it at Bulldogs R Us or something
I'm glad they didn't screw with the 'G' though.

IMO the Bulldog is always hard to get right. I think that is one of the reasons they should never-ever change/remove the G.

Perhaps I don't like it because because the Bulldog I grew up with, but the one wearing a hat, is pretty iconic and distinctive. I also like the full dog wearing the jersey. I think the font will grow on me (looking back, we change typeface on the 'Georgia' script every 10-15 years anyway).

Mr. Sanchez,

This is why we have the Internet.
That is all.

It looks stupid. All about money blah blah blah. I just hate when schools/franchises introduce or change things just to sell products. Especially when it's Georgia and especially when it's a craptasic logo like this one.

Reminds me of the Red Dog beer logo.

Meh... Not the first time it's been "changed".

I dont see it as a change, rather an addition. UGA has several logos that are all still used on various merchandise.

Agree with the poster above, the old school Dawg with the red/black hat is still the best!
