Look, I have as much irrational exuberance over 2013 as the next guy, but we've been down this road before. When you think about SI having us at 12th and (presumptively) finishing 3rd in the SEC East, an assessment I can't argue with, and many others are seeing the defense as a possible liability in the early season, that is a stretch.
But I can't help but to get excited over CFN's placing UGA in California in January.
Of course, those opponents have their own issues.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I think the defense will wind up being significantly better than last year. Why? More overall talent, speed and desire! The only question is can this young unit come through the first two games with a W under their belt. If so, Katy bar the door.
I'm bullish on this offense. We've never-ever had an offense with more weapons and a senior QB at the helm. If Bobo, builds on last year we are going to be scary. Who can stop us, but us?
Keeping the D-line rotated and fresh is the key. If we have the talent and the number of ends/NTs to work with, we could be OK.
