Dawgs take on Alabama at 4pm

After the big win against Missouri on the road, who knows what we'll see at Stegeman today? We played the best inside defense of the year the Fox era against the Tigers. While Missouri is a guard heavy team, they rely on ball movement and open cuts to generate high percentage looks. Georgia did an effective job of shutting that down and forcing Missouri to take a lot of long range jumpers.

And the game wasn't as close as the score indicated, as the Dawgs were 13 of 26 from the free throw line. Shoot season average and we win during regulation.

Alabama is beatable, but Anthony Grant is coaching for his job at 'Bama. That presents a dangerous challenge for UGA.

Tip is 4pm on SEC TV. Local affiliates include WPCH-Atlanta, WGXA-Macon, WSAV-DT2-Savannah, and WALB-Albany. It can be see in DC, Dallas, Houston, throughout Florida, and in selected Midwestern locations. For a full affiliate list, go here.

If you are in town, come out. While my concerns about the program and the issues I have with Coach Fox's approach, I'm fine if we keep playing sound defense and win. A big home crowd will help. Hope to see you there.
