So far, the reaction to Todd Gurley's suspension has been positive from the Missouri fans we've encountered. It has ranged from 'is he the left hand set up guy for the Orioles' to 'I don't listen to metal rock,' so there is that.
We did see one young man who told us in no uncertain terms that we were going to lose, probably. There was also the one lady that asked us where Gurley was, and I went all dark place on her and said he was in the lobby signing autographs with Pete Rose. She then went to check.
So that is to say Missouri fans are the Canadians of the SEC in a lot of ways.
