Pulpwood on Tennessee

As always, it's most certainly not safe for work. Although, he makes great points on Mrs. Kiffin.

Pulpwood Wants A Pork Chop

Pulpwood pontificates on the Hawgs, Petrino and the local populace of Fayetteville.  It's a classic.  Still not safe for work though, slaves.

Pulpwood Smith on Oklahoma State

Pulpwood comes out of hibernation to address the situation in Stillwater. As always the language is not safe for work. Pulpwood is fairly colorful that way. Remember, he ain't got time for this b.s. He's got kids to raise.

Pulpwood Smith on Hawaii

Pulpwood has two updates up from New Orleans. The first one is from two weeks ago, the latest one is this week.

Note: As always, Pulpwood's use profanity is a skill he honed to perfection while incarcerated. So as always, his updates are rated R for extreme language.PWD

Pre-Tech News and Notes

First of all, here's Pulpwood's latest prediction: It involves whipped backsides and a pink shirt. Pulpwood calls from jail where the rules on cussin' are different than at your office, so check your employee handbook regarding use of company computers to access foul mouthed monkey speak about your favorite football team.

Perennial spring superstar and one time second string tailback Jason Johnson was forced to give up football due to a spinal condition. Johnson saw action in several games this year, rushing for 22 yards on 9 attempts. Jason has been a good Dawg for the past four years and we wish him well.

If you are still following the beauty contest and perpetual P.R. campaign known as the Heisman race, Georgia's players have some bold statements for you. They don't like Tebow, as Kelin Johnson said, "He doesn't have my vote." (Kelin, by the way, doesn't actually have a vote.) Tebow's lackluster play in Jacksonville has blinded us to the fact that he is the first player in NCAA history to run for twenty touchdowns and throw for twenty more. Stafford picks Oregon's Dennis Dixson, even though he is out for the year with an ACL tear. Kelin's actual pick was Darren McFadden, although Rennie Curran said "we would destroy him, too." Easy there, Rennie. I still have memories of McFadden's last trip to Athens rattling around in my head causing significant trauma.

The background comments on that video aren't needed because that is what every knowledgeable football fan should be saying.

I know this is the Georgia SPORTS Blog, but special mention needs to go out to Deep Shah and Katherine Vyborny. These two UGA students were awarded Rhodes scholarships this week. That's two more Rhodes scholars than Vanderbilt, Florida, and Georgia Tech. Please remember this when confronting Tech fans this weekend.

BEAT TECH!

Andrea "Pulpwood" Smith on the UK Game

Andrea Pulpwood Smith has been the SEC's best prognosticator this season with his live from prison picks. Many of you know that Pulpwood was a fullback and Georgia's leading rusher in 1984 until he was sidelined with academic issues. He was a hard hitting, hard living beast man until his untimely academic demise.

Anyway - the latest installment of his Predictions from Jail series is outrageously funny. Be warned, the language is not safe for work. But what do you expect from a phone call from the state penitentiary?

(yeah, I know it's not really Pulpwood. But that takes much of the fun out of it now doesn't it?)
