Troy Gameday Headlines

"Troy has not shied away from top-flight competition. It began the 2007 season with back-to-back games against SEC members Arkansas (46-26 loss) and Florida (59-31 loss). It beat Oklahoma State 41-23 to start the six-game winning streak that it rides into Sanford Stadium.

How can I listen to the game on my computer?

yahoo sports is free - but not Munson. Otherwise you can pay $10 on georgiadogs.com

.... that was interesting. If anyone went to the game was our secondary just non-existent? It sounded like Haugabook was just toying with our secondary for most of the day. I mean 310 yards?!?!?!?!? I hope Banks isn't hurt.

Not that it helps now. but I'm almost positive WSB 750 has a free live stream on their website for future games. Click "Listen Live" on the top of their home page.

When I was in Thailand I used to get a live stream on a radio station from So. Ga. I think it was in Moultrie.

The secondary was there; they ran a spread offense with a bunch of screens and short yardage stuff pretty much all game. There weren't many attempts down field nor were there many rushing attempts--it made for an excruciatingly long game (4+ hours). What's a bit worrisome is that their QB/offense looks quite a bit like Florida's. The worrisome part is that it makes me wonder whether UGA can stop that kind of attack in the future or whether it was a one-time effort against UF. If Troy had a few more athletes, the game could have gone much differently.

Anyways, the long and the short of it is that Georgia did not tackle well, got fooled on a handful of big plays that shouldn't have been big plays (tackling issues, mainly), and couldn't regularly stop the dink-and-dunk stuff.

Clayton -

Is the 750 thing new? When I tried to listen online last year for the Mississippi State game the station cut over to the best of Clark Howard.

No - 750 does NOT allow you to hear Munson online for free. They stopped that several years ago when geaorgiadogs.com started offering G-Xtra. Munson is under a contract as well as 750.

How much does it cost to not listen to Munson?

free on yahoo sports if they are offering audio of one of our games. However you will hear the opposing team's announcers. Otherwise you can get satelite radio or G-Xtra. There was a Valdosta AM station that you could hear Munson online for free but it doesn't work anymore.
