Exclusive: Marshall Henderson's first draft of his letter to Ole Miss fans*
Dear all you old assholes that hassle me and haters,
Coach told me that I had to do something because some folks in the administration was all like 'Henderson is a loose cannon and shit.' So this is that something. I mean if I'm gonna get paid, I got to be all like cool and whatnot. Cause I'm cool.
Some people don't like me because I am a player. Well, did I take liberties with your ladies? Hell yeah. I know we won the SEC and all, but if my team would have done anything to help me get about ten more shots, we'd have gone to the Sweet 16 in LA.
You know I'd have rocked LA, bro. If Steve Nash can ball there, I know I am golden.
Anyways, I'm only have a few classes left before taking my spinning talents to the professional DJ circuit. That don't mean I'm outie, tho. Naw. After being in Utah, Oxford is heaven, with the ladies and drinks and whatnot. Besides, I got another 1000 shots left in me, if you know what I mean. This SEC athlete life is for me, brah.
To all the haters. F---- y'all. Just cause you ain't seen someone just ball to ball. Yeah, that's my game. Get. Over. It. Assholes. I ain't changing a MFING thing. Deal, yo.
I know I own this town now. I have to hold myself to that. I am Hottie Toddy, bitches.
Marshall Henderson

Winning the Internets
With the genius that can only come from helping orphans while drinking Taaka Ginn, Malibu, and a splash of Crystal Pepsi from a custom painted Klean Kanteen, Spencer Hall pretty much sums up any amateur drinking of bourbon.
A sample...
A sample...
7. Now drink your bourbon. Some may tell you to swirl the liquid around your mouth. These people do it not for flavor--this is a common misconception--but instead for hygiene, attempting to kill the germs inside your filthy, rat-infested disease-cannon of a mouth. Bourbon comes from Kentucky, where "Your teeth or your liver" was the only question on the state medical board until 1959. The correct answer was tricky: "Bourbon." Let the rich alcohol flavor wash over your tongue and facepiece.TD

How Brazil Got the Olympics
I'm pretty sure the Brazilian Olympic Bid Committee did this to each of the Selection Committee members.
This is hilarity. Confession: I have an unnatural fear of elevators, especially elevators when the lights go off. If Linda Blair were to show up in the elevator when the lights go out, I'm pretty sure the elevator would have to be closed for serious bio-hazard detox. There is nothing about my pride or need for safety that would overcome my urge to ball up in the fetal position and crap myself if this happened. I'm guessing everyone short of Herschel and Chuck Norris would do the same.

A Master Class in Poking a Stick at your Enemy
This is wildly off topic, but it's a great read. It's an exchange between French and Irish diplomatic officers leading up to the World Cup 2010 Qualifier Match between the two countries. The exchange involves a request for a VIP Box for the French President.
Nothing like an elegant poke in the eye to your rival.
(So...it's a fake. You know what. It's still funny.)

Most Obnoxious SEC Football Fans....
Mark Bradley lists the SEC's most obnoxious fans. It's a topic that has gotten play in Alabama, Louisiana, Kentucky and elsewhere. Here's his list (full article): - 12. Mississippi State
11. Kentucky
10. Vanderbilt
9. Ole Miss
8. LSU
7. Tennessee
6. South Carolina
5. Arkansas
4. Alabama
3. Georgia
2. Auburn
1. Florida
Brace Yourself
I will now shock you with the following comment. I don't think the Gator fans are the most obnoxious in the SEC. Sure, they can be Doucheous-Maximus, and their most obnoxious and unforgivably trait is the refusal to acknowledge that football wasn't invented in 1990. Beyond that, I can deal with their fans at the Cocktail Party easier than I can deal with my personal #1 ... Gamecock Fans.
There's not a more petty, small, whiny, humorless, chip on their shoulders, sh*t a$$ lot than the Gamecock fans I frequently encounter during my visits to Williams-Brice-Richt Stadium.
If I were doing my rankings, it would look like this:
- Latest Arriving Tailgaters and Nicest Fans - Arkansas Razorbacks
- Most Like Looking at Our Retarded Poorly Constructed Clone - Auburn
- Most Inflated Sense of Themselves - Florida ("The tradition of Wake Forest and the Arrogance of Notre Dame" - Orlando Sentinel)
- Most Likely To Talk Smack About the Wrong Sport - Kentucky
- Most Unnerving / Scariest - LSU
- Best Looking and Possibly Drunkest - Ole Miss
- Least Prosperous and Most Baffling Not a JUCO - Mississippi State
- Biggest Whiners / Least Fun to Party With - South Carolina
- Fattest - Tennessee
- Most Irrelevant- Vanderbilt
- Most Bear - Alabama

I'm obviously a day late on this, but Orson Swindle has the latest on Georgia's well publicized non-conference road game vs. Russia. I particularly liked the Rennie Curran line.

Big East Coaches Conference Call Gets Hacked
The Big East basketball coaches conference call was hacked into, and miscreants had their way with the coaches. The Big Lead has the audio from the call and the details. It's a riot. If you're at work, listen to this with the headphones on. My favorite part is the flustered PR hack trying to manage the implosion.

Dog Bites "Next Hand"
For those of you who didn't watch the Iron Bowl last night, Auburn won it 17-10. This gives the Aubs six wins in a row, meaning they will now taunt the Bammers with two hands to show them how many consecutive wins they have in the rivalry. (Evidently, Alabama residents can only communicate in primitive hand gestures.) Last year, Tuberville warned Alabama to "fear the thumb," and this year the Aubs have moved on to the "next hand."
An Alabama state police K-9 unit tried to insure that Auburn DB Jerraud Powers wouldn't taunt anyone when it bit Powers Saturday night in the waning minutes.

Such an impromptu amputation might actually make the taunt more effective. The Aubs could flash a middle finger paired with another five digits.

Richt to Meyer before the game....
"You see, when we score first we are going to celebrate right
over there . . ."

"THEN. we are going to beat your ass, sack your "Heisman QB" 6 times, throw two bombs for touchdowns, run a Redshirt Freshman for almost 200 yards and laugh the entire time.
Oh and tell Tebow to stop crying after he loses. What a home schooled crybaby!"

GT's Rambling Wreck and the Georgia Sports Blog
As regular readers of this site know, two Georgia Tech students crashed the rambling wreck back in June of this year. In the days immediately following the crash, the Techies attempted to hide the smashed vehicle and keep their treasured tradition away from the public eye.
The Georgia Sports Blog offered a $100 bounty for the pics. The pics were delivered within days by the Macon Telegraph. Anyway...CSTV profiled the rebuilding of the car in a segment last week, and the Georgia Sports Blog was featured.
NOTE: because of technical problems for Mac users, I've eliminated the embedded link to the video. To watch the video, go directly to the site here.
HT - Kerri W. of CSTV for the link.
