MAJOR STOCK ALERT: Sharper Image

Sharper Image (NASDAQ: SHRP) produces gadgetry including Alarm Clocks which are perfect for today's Metrosexual man.

Why this stock is a winner:
FoxSports has announced that their Cotton Bowl sideline reporter will be none other than Chris "Snooze Button" Rix. The Fox Sports team is rumored to be investing tens of thousands of dollars in Alarm Clocks to ensure that pretty boy Rix doesn't miss kickoff for this game.

If the game were an 8:00 pm start time, we wouldn't be issuing a Strong Buy rating on Sharper Image. However, this game is scheduled for a 10:00 a.m. CST kickoff on Jan. 2nd. Meaning that Senor Sleepy Head will have to get to the stadium by 7:30 for pre-game meetings with the production team.

Allowing for travel time from the hotel to the Cotton Bowl; waiting for the cab at the hotel; eating breakfast; applying the appropriate hair care products and facial creams; allowing teeth whitening strips time to work; staring into the mirror vainly for the proper amount of time; and selecting the proper man purse from his collection for the first and second halves, I would say that Rix will probably have to set his alarm clocks for....Dec. 29th to get up that early.
