Georgia represented on all four teams
ATHENS --- Ten former University of Georgia Bulldog football players are currently on rosters of the final four NFL teams still competing for Super Bowl berths.
All four NFL teams still playing - the Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Denver Broncos - have two or more former Bulldogs on their rosters.
Former Georgia players in this weekend's AFC and NFC championship games include: PK John Kasay, SS Thomas Davis, and LB Will Witherspoon of the Carolina Panthers; FB Mack Strong and QB David Greene of the Seattle Seahawks; WR Hines Ward, RB Verron Haynes, and LB Arnold Harrison of the Pittsburgh Steelers; and CB Champ Bailey and OT George Foster of the Denver Broncos.
Georgia has had a total of 36 of its former players make 55 appearances in Super Bowl games.
