Georgia Sports Blog's Online Store

I've teamed up with FootballFanatics.com to offer an online store where you can buy UGA, SEC and any other pro or college team's merchandise.

Just click on the "Get Ready for Gameday" icon in the upper right to check it out. I still have a bunch of customizing to do to the store regarding the look and feel. However, it already works, it's ready, and it's backed by the Football Fanatics brand.

My favorite items right now are the Nike Dri-Fit gameday shirts. (click on the image to check it out).

They also have a wide selection of hats, jerseys, car flags, baby stuff and more.

Most of their items are guaranteed to ship within 2 business days, which means you've still got time to order or give gifts before the season starts! Not bad.

Football Fanatics has been around for over 10 years. They have more than 50,000 items in stock, and they pride themselves on flat rate, inexpensive and timely shipping.

The store is just Phase 1 of what will hopefully be a series of upgrades to the site during football season. Let me know your thoughts as you buy stuff. Thanks!

I'll pick up a t-shirt or something through it (they've got a nice 1990 Tech National Championship shirt). Decent prices too.

Is there a reason why last year's Danny Ware and Thomas Brown jerseys were Tampa Bay pewter, while this year's Massakwuiou jersey is actually red?

I truly hope the mere existence of the "Adidas Georgia Bulldogs #25 Black Alternate Replica Football Jersey" doesn't mean the world is coming to an end. Seriously, the day UGA takes the field with black jerseys is the day Jim Donnan is back coaching the Dawgs. Awful.

Hank - 2 things:

1. I'll have your "Dawgs Abroad" story up next week.

2. The black jerseys were supplied by Nike and Adidas for sale. Not for wearing. We've had them available since 2003.

It's not the vendor I'm working with. It's a UGA thing.
