There are 2 ways to help Michael Lemon in the wake of the tragic loss of his mother in a fire a few months back. Way #1 (My preference):
The Lemon Support Fund
c/o University of Georgia Athletic Association

There's a second giving opportunity here....
G.R.A.C.E./Michael Lemon Fundraiser
The Grace Shearon Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non profit, is in need of volunteers for a special emergency event. The foundation raises money for the G.R.A.C.E. Fund at the University of Georgia's Veterinary Hospital. The G.R.A.C.E. Fund provides monetary assistance for any care of pets of low income individuals. The foundation also gives grants to other animal rescue groups as well as other community organizations in need.
We are having a special emergency money drive in Oconee County on June 23. 50 percent of the money will go to the Michael Lemon Fund and 50 per cent will go to the G.R.A.C.E. Fund. Michael Lemon is a UGA football player whose mom was murdered and home burned down. The NCAA has allowed for collection of money to help support him and his 15 yr old brother. Unfortunately, the NCAA has set June 30th as the deadline to collect any money.
The foundation will be collecting at several intersections in Oconee. (similar to the firemen's "boot" drive) We need many volunteers, sponsors, supplies, etc.
If you would like to be a part of helping a DAWG who has suffered such a tremendous loss, as well as a DOG, please call Dr. Flynn Nance 7770-483-7225 or email sicemdawgs@bellsouth.net.
