Florida. I went to LSU in 2003. Yes it is loud and crazy. But when was the last time we beat UF twice in a row. That is the hurdle that hurt us in 2002. If we beat UF I think we are in ATL in DEC and Miami in Jan. Go Dawgs!
We have to beat everyone in the East to make it to the SECC. I think Florida represents our biggest challenge.
I think after the long stretch with UT/Vandy/LSU/FU/UK we'll be banged up and tired after those 5 straight SEC opponents. That and Tubbys job may be on the line if he doesn't answer our last 2 beatdowns he's been handed. AU has UT-Martin(WHO??) the week before so they'll get some needed rest before we come to the plains.
They are all threats, with the possible exception of Kentucky. In a way, I think we are getting in the heads of the Gators, but since it is a back-to-back deal with LSU, I think that the Gators could be the toughest, and that is how I voted. But, USuC is no picnic, and AU scares hell out of me, too.
Watch, we'll beat them all but lose to USC early. I hate Spurrier.
History tells us that we have lost to S. Carolina only 1 time in 2 consecutive years ('00 & '01). Hard to imagine we'll do that with this team. Our boys are used to winning on the Plains, and I think...I think...we see the Florida game as one we're supposed to win now. None of our kids have ever played in Baton Rouge, so that will be very tough challenge. But it's hard not to consider ASU the toughest. We'll be playing in a stadium and in an atmosphere that is totally foreign. The climate will be totally foreign. And we'll be playing against a style of offense that we don't see much down south. Plus, we haven't played a game that far away in a very long time. Our guys are certainly not used to that kind of flight and travel schedule. The Sun Devils won't be the best team we play outside the hedges, but the experience might very well be the toughest.
Until you isolated the road games in a poll I didn't realize the simple truth: I'm not afraid of any of them.
I'm with fallenhero. Auburn is in a similar position with us as we are with UT. 2 straight beatdowns will mean the AU crowd will be out for blood when we come calling. Add in the fact that it's at the end of a month-plus away from Athens, and it has all the makings of a close heartbreaker.
Oh and FWIW, we're the "home team" in Jacksonville (rolling eyes).
I think the main consensus is that we are saying florida and only florido for the reasons already mentioned. We have had trouble beating UF. Tebow will be another year mature and they should have another threat in Chris Rainey and Moody (if he ever grasps the offense) to take some carries away from Tebow. I don't think we will make it look as easy as last time by winning by more than a touchdown. LSU is a tough place, without the as tough a team as i see Florida being.

I won't say I'm worried about the S.C game, but it is our first road game, and every time I think about last year, I get a nervous tic.
Because of the national attention, travel, and climate, I think ASU is our toughest road game.
Flordia. Always Flordia. Our celebration from last year will be shown/talked about the week leading up to the game. Not to mention playing defending Heisman winner. We might lose a road game leading up to UF, but it will be our toughest.
We haven't beaten Auburn 3 years in a row since '80-'82. Therefore I'm going with AU, even with the away teams tendency to win.
I'm going Auburn, for the exact reasons hobnail_boot posted. Them gonna be some pissed Plainsmen.
Some of you give S. Carolina wayyyy to much credit.
I say Florida remains the toughest.
After what we did to Florida last year, they have been preparing all off season for revenge. Without a doubt, the Gators will be our toughest road game.
Here's hoping we smoke them again!!
Did you guys miss the last decade and a half? Florida. Without a doubt. They won't be the best team we face next year or the most hostile environment but there have been plenty of times they were neither of those things and still came out with a seemingly easy win in Jacksonville.
Auburn.
This one plays out the same as our game in 2004 - a huge scheduling advantage for Auburn.
Once again, it is our fourth straight SEC road game while Auburn rests through a creampuff like Tennessee-Martin. Auburn once again will field a team recently embarrassed by Georgia and will have plenty of motivation to play well.
Also look back at to our situation in Knoxville last year.
