Cannonball !!!

Coach Richt led the annual pool party at the Ramsey Center yesterday. Instead of the morning portion of two-a-days, Richt and the team blew off some steam by imitating Michael Phelps and Greg Louganis in the pool. Just like last year, Richt performed his patented backflip off the ten meter diving platform. (Image: Brant Sanderlin at the AJC.)

Things I now know include that Ramarcus Brown can't swim and Stafford prefers to dive with taped ankles. The swimming trip was a great relief to both Ron Courson (I think it very unlikely that an ACL can be torn while swimming) and the horses from the equestrian program. As you may recall, Richt's other practice substitute is horseback riding. Jeff Owens would have surely killed a horse by attempting to ride it.
