Early Georgia Lines

Golden Nugget will offer lines on 250 'Games of the Year' on Friday. Today they dropped a few teaser lines. Not surprising at all, eight of the ten feature SEC games, with six being conference games.

From the Golden Nugget:
Aug. 31 (in Atlanta)
Alabama -17 vs. Virginia Tech

Sept. 14
Alabama -6 at Texas A&M

Sept. 28
LSU at Georgia -6

Sept. 28
Wisconsin at Ohio St -11

Oct. 12
Florida at LSU -4

Nov. 2 (Jacksonville)
Florida vs. Georgia -4

Nov. 9
LSU at Alabama -11.5

Nov. 23
Texas A&M at LSU -1

Nov. 30
Florida St. at Florida -2

Nov. 30
Ohio St. -6 at Michigan

The Nugget will also release lines on the other games, including the Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, Vandy, Auburn, Kentucky, Tech games.

Any chance Georgia is a dog in any of those games?

I think we will probably be a very small underdog @ Clemson (+1.5) and a small favorite over South Carolina (-3)

The other games I think we will be decent to large favorites:

-8.5 @ Tennessee
-10 vs. Missouri
-7 @ Vandy
-7 @ Auburn
-17.5 vs. Kentucky
-8.5 @ Tech

I could see us being a dog to open @Clemson. I still think we open as a slight favorite there. Barring any other suspensions/injuries, we'll be -5+ by game time.

Certainly possible, but that would shock me big time if we were a 5 point favorite at Clemson for that opener.

Don't get me wrong, I'm picking us to win that game, but I seriously doubt the line has us at -5 at kickoff.

It'll be interesting to watch for sure.

Five might be optimistic. That game has a lot of potential for action. No one will touch the 'Bama game on either side at 17 at least early. There are a couple of other games that could have a lot of action (Washington St at Auburn and LSU at TCU look good).

Well, I stand corrected. We are favored by 3.5 over Clemson.

That is a surprise to me. Thought it be .5 or 1.5.
