Phil Steel sees Dawgs winning East

He's usually pretty good at this. He has South Carolina at 13 and Florida at 18. He has Texas A&M at 12 and LSU at 17. No Alabama yet, but he hasn't gotten to the NFL World Galaxy yet.

Couple of good tidbits: First, he mentions how much more effective Georgia's defense was at making teams earn points last year. Second, he's unsure about the offensive line, but thinks they have the potential to be one of the best in the country. Third, Georgia's special teams actually improved last year over '11, and he expects that to continue.

Overall, it isn't a terrible write up or ranking considering the caveats and uncertainty on defense.
