Glimmers of hope: South Carolina

Connor Shaw didn't look particularly good throwing the ball last week. He got nearly half of his passing yards on one play. He was 11/20. The Gamecocks only had one sustained scoring drive, although the also drove a touch over 50 yards, but still scored on a 30 yd TD pass from Dylan Thompson.

Boy, it'd be nice to have Spurrier pulling his QB in this one for Thompson. Then having him pull that one and going back to Shaw.

Also, their punter only averaged 33ypk on 5 punts. One was pooch kick, but he also had a steady stream 40 yarders. That is something to watch, too.
