Quick round up

  • Clemson is down a running back and starting offensive lineman. None of those players were named Vic Beasley, so carry on with your panic.
  • South Carolina might be without their star running back, Mike Davis, for the Texas A&M game. Then again, he might not.
  • Mark Richt has lost control of Georgia Tech's recruits.
  • Tennessee is strategerizing around their young offensive line...by making sure the defense is getting rough with their tailbacks.
  • Patton Robinette becomes the Vandiest named starting QB in the country when he is named Vandy's starting QB this week.
  • I'm not surprised Auburn had a guy with a failed drug test. I'm surprised Auburn has a guy that got suspended three games for one. Must have been some Keith Richards level stuff going on.
Let's get it on.

I am for eliminating strict divisions, but this proposal is a little odd. I prefer the 8-game schedule with 3 permanent opponents (selected on a per-team basis rather than as groupings) and 5 rotating games to be played against the remaining 10 teams. UGA would play Auburn and Florida (and probably SoCar) every year and see all the other SEC teams 2 out of every 4 years.

Any chance we get the pickem going? I hate to bother y'all because I love your work, but we haven't found a better sampling of games in this format, and if y'all don't do it, I'll have to for my group of reckless gamblers... GO DAWGS, it's GAME WEEK!!
